Job Summary
We are seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will inspect residential and commercial buildings for signs of pest infestation, advise owners on treatment options, and provide pest control solutions. The ideal candidate is friendly and service-oriented. Join our team as a Pest Control Technician! We are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow with us.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Ability to solve and communicate effectively with customers, office and managers
  • MUST complete work orders notes after completing each service
  • Review and follow instructions for pest treatment based on service orders and or contracts
  • Perform pest control treatments at homes and commercial structures according to service standards
  • Apply treatment at specified level according to label requirements
  • Adhere to all safety procedures
  • Documenting all work performed and provide information to service/office accurately and consistently
  • Ensure work is performed in conjunction with established policies and procedures to provide consistent and quality service for each customer
  • Reviewing and complete various documents such as completed work orders and timesheets
  • Properly maintain service equipment and assigned vehicle
  • Maintain up-to-date state licensing 
  • Must be able to drive
  • Must be able to read and write
  • Attend required meetings
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned
  • Must Arrive to scheduled jobs on time 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Must be able to maintain State Driver’s License – Class C (minimum) 
  • Must maintain a clean and acceptable driving record for both the company and insurance company 
  • High School diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Industry or service industry experience preferred but not required. 
  • Must have or be able to pass the State Required licensing exam with 90 days of hire
  • Must be able to work outside 
  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
  • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
  • Ability to carry, lift and move chemical solutions and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Able to work in cramped and inconvenient surrounds requiring manipulation of equipment in sometimes awkward positions for prolonged periods of time
  • Use/climb of various types of ladders ranging from three (3’) to thirty-two feet (32’)
  • Ability to climb and balance up to 50 pounds while on a ladder
  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
  • Strong communication skills as well as customer relationship skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, policies, documents and regulations
  • Ability to write reports or the use of technology to record work performed
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables 
  • Ability to work in areas that are known to have pest such as spiders, bedbugs, cockroaches, bees, fleas, live or dead animals (this list is not all inclusive

The employee is required maintain balance, climb and sit for short and extended periods of time. Must be able to wear or utilized required safety equipment. The employee must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Excellent stamina is required. Discomfort may be experienced while wearing protective clothing, respirators, goggles, or face masks for extended periods of time. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
