Build a Career While Serving Our Military Community

Frazier Pest Control is looking for a dependable, professional, and motivated Military Base Pest Control Technician to join our team serving the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms, Liberty Military Housing communities, and other government facilities.

This is a field-based position located primarily in the Twentynine Palms area. We are especially interested in candidates who live in Twentynine Palms or the surrounding High Desert communities and are looking for a stable, long-term career close to home.

Previous pest control experience is helpful, but it is not required for the right candidate. We are willing to train someone who brings reliability, professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to learn.

What You Will Do

As a Military Base Pest Control Technician, you will provide residential, commercial, and government pest management services in a unique military environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Inspecting homes and buildings for insects, rodents, and other structural pests
  • Performing residential pest control services within military housing communities
  • Servicing administrative offices, warehouses, maintenance facilities, training buildings, and other government properties
  • Identifying pest activity and conditions that may contribute to pest problems
  • Performing rodent monitoring and control
  • Applying pest control products safely and in accordance with label directions and applicable regulations
  • Completing service documentation, work orders, and pesticide application records accurately
  • Maintaining your company vehicle, equipment, and materials
  • Communicating professionally with military personnel, civilian employees, contractors, and military families
  • Representing Frazier Pest Control with professionalism, integrity, and pride

Military Base Access Is an Essential Requirement

Because this position performs work aboard MCAGCC Twentynine Palms and other secured government facilities, the successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the military installation access and credentials required to perform the position.

Candidates must also be willing to comply with installation security procedures, credentialing requirements, safety standards, and applicable military and federal regulations.

What We Are Looking For

Our ideal candidate is:

  • Dependable and punctual
  • Professional and customer-service oriented
  • Comfortable working independently in the field
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
  • Detail-oriented and able to complete accurate documentation
  • Comfortable working outdoors in High Desert weather conditions
  • Willing to learn, accept coaching, and continuously improve
  • Able to adapt when schedules or assignments change
  • Interested in building a long-term career rather than simply finding the next job

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid California Driver License with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required military installation access
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a California Structural Pest Control Applicator License within Company-established timeframes
  • Ability to safely operate a Company vehicle
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in attics, crawlspaces, and other confined spaces
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience That Can Help You Succeed

We encourage applicants with experience in any of the following areas to apply:

  • Pest control
  • Military installation or government contract work
  • Construction or maintenance
  • Landscaping
  • Route or field service
  • Mechanical or hands-on work
  • Customer service

Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are also a plus.

Training & Career Development

Frazier Pest Control believes in developing people, not simply filling positions.

Employees receive ongoing training that may include:

  • Hands-on field training
  • Ride-along instruction
  • Pest management and safety education
  • Regulatory compliance training
  • Customer service coaching
  • Cross-training throughout Company operations

Career advancement opportunities may include California Applicator licensing, Branch 2 or Branch 3 Field Representative licensing, Senior Military Base Pest Management Technician, Military Team Lead, Termite Inspector, and Operations Supervisor.

Schedule

This is a full-time field position supporting military and government operations.

Daily schedules may vary based on customer and operational requirements. Occasional overtime, modified schedules, or weekend work may be required. Reliability and punctuality are especially important because our military contracts operate on strict schedules and service commitments.

Compensation

$20.00–$24.00 per hour

Starting compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, pest control licensing, applicable skills, and qualifications.
