Job Brief:
To service and follow-up all Agronomy products in a manner that will optimize StateLine Cooperatives market share, improve the cooperatives efficiency, help achieve the cooperatives mission and goals, resulting in outstanding customer service. The custom applicator will be responsible for all types of custom application, liquid, dry as well as NH3.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide application of fertilizers and pesticides to areas within the work order.
  2. Service walk-in customers as needed/Customer service.
  3. Be able to maintain commercial applicator and drivers license.
  4. Maintain proficiency in the operation of SLC liquid and dry custom application equipment.
  5. Be knowledgeable of NH3 plant, bulk dry and liquid fertilizer plant and operations.
  6. Keep location manager informed of customer needs, requests, and observations.
  7. Be knowledgeable about products being used and weather conditions.
  8. Performing other duties as assigned

Professionalism:
  1. Always conduct yourself in a professional manner.
  2. Maintain a clean and positive appearance with both yourself and SLC equipment and facilities.
  3. Attending schools and trainings pertaining to agronomy to maintain and build expertise as requested.
  4. Perform duties in an efficient and time saving manner.

Maintenance and Safety:
  1. Maintain any equipment used for your job in good physical and mechanical condition.
  2. Operate equipment in a safe manner and in compliance with all OSHA and/or state and federal regulations.
  3. Communicate safe storage and handling procedures to all customers.
  4. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Two years commercial applications experience preferred.
