Job description

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Taylor, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients, assisting them with daily activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers safely
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Observe and report changes in clientsโ€™ health or behavior to supervisors
  • Follow care plans and protocols established by healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is a plus
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid certification or training in Personal Support Work is an asset
  • Must be able to pass background
  • Flexible availability to meet the needs of clients
