Insurance Customer Service Representative | Dallas, TX | P&C License Required | $60K+


About the Role


Pacific Crest Dallas is hiring a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our rapidly growing national insurance firm. As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll provide exceptional service to our customers through various communication channels, with prior insurance sales or service experience preferred.


Location: Dallas, TX (In person)


Compensation: From $60,000-75,000/year


What the Insurance Customer Service Representative Will Do

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls and emails regarding policy coverage and claims
  • Contact new policyholders to introduce the company and explain their policy
  • Build rapport with customers, listening and responding to requests and inquiries
  • Work to retain policyholders who inquire about canceling
  • Help policyholders understand their policy contract and recommend coverage enhancements or policy changes
  • Process policy changes accurately
  • Communicate premium payment information, including payment plan options, policy change premium impact, one-time payments, and alternate payment arrangements
  • Manage time effectively to ensure department and individual goals are achieved
  • Document all policyholder interactions and place policies in follow-up when applicable
  • Utilize technical systems effectively and efficiently
  • Foster and maintain relationships with carrier underwriters
  • Keep accurate records and notes on all client activities in the client management system
  • Monitor claims for client satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned


What We're Looking For in an Insurance Customer Service Representative

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
  • 1+ years of experience in insurance sales, claims processing, or customer support
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required
  • 1+ years of Personal Lines writing experience required
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
  • Commercial insurance experience preferred
