You will play a pivotal role in securing favorable settlements and guiding clients through crucial decisions, hence supporting the firm's commitment to justice and client empowerment.
What you'll do:

  • Case Management: Handle pre-litigation cases after the Demand Department receives a settlement offer, ensuring timely and efficient case progression.
  • Negotiation: Engage with insurance adjusters to negotiate the best settlements, maximizing client compensation.
  • Client Communication: Present settlement offers and detailed breakdowns, guiding clients through the decision-making process with clarity and empathy.
  • Provider Follow-Up: Ensure all medical provider balances are reconciled for accurate settlement calculations.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with Glenda Mitchell and other departments to smoothly transition cases to litigation when necessary.
  • Assistant Oversight: Supervise and delegate tasks to a Pre-Litigation Assistant, ensuring workload balance and progress.
  • Case Ownership: Proactively monitor case progress, identify potential roadblocks, and ensure matters continue moving forward without unnecessary delays.
  • Phone Coverage: Assist with answering incoming calls and appropriately routing them within the firm.
  • Pre-Litigation Focus: Manage cases exclusively during the pre-litigation settlement phase, beginning after a demand package has been submitted and a settlement offer has been received from the insurance carrier.


What we're looking for:
              

  • Legal Experience: Minimum of 1 year of personal injury experience, with a solid understanding of the PI case lifecycle and pre-litigation workflows.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate settlements and handle high-volume caseloads efficiently.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with confidence in client-facing interactions.
  • Team-Oriented Mindset: Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, contribute to a team-first culture, and support colleagues when needed to ensure exceptional client service. 
  • Independence: Ability to work autonomously with strong organizational skills.

  • Location Commitment: Must work fully onsite in Cartersville, GA, with a sustainable, reasonable commute.
