Paralegal - Personal Injury

I'm partnering with a well-established law firm in Portland to identify an experienced Paralegal with a strong background in personal injury law. If you thrive in a fast-paced legal environment, enjoy managing complex case details, and take pride in delivering exceptional support to attorneys and clients, this could be an excellent opportunity.

The Opportunity

This full-time, in-office position offers the chance to play a key role in the management and progression of personal injury cases from intake through settlement. You'll work closely with attorneys and legal staff while serving as an important point of coordination for case documentation, records, and client communication.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and maintain personal injury case files, ensuring accuracy and organization throughout the life of each case.
  • Draft professional correspondence, including letters, emails, and other legal communications.
  • Request, review, organize, and summarize medical records and medical billing documentation.
  • Track and manage medical liens and related case information.
  • Prepare settlement demand packages for submission to insurance carriers.
  • Monitor deadlines and support attorneys with substantive legal work and case progression.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, insurance representatives, medical providers, and internal team members.
  • Assist with problem-solving and case-related research as needed.
