About the Role:
The Firm is seeking an independent and experienced attorney to handle first and second chair for medical malpractice and nursing home abuse/neglect with up to seven years of experience to join our litigation team.
This is not necessarily a business development role-though initiative is appreciated and rewarded, you'll be provided with a steady caseload so you can focus on achieving excellent results for clients who are at their most vulnerable - usually involving a death or catastrophic injury.
Responsibilities:
Manage your own personal injury caseload with senior attorney supervision
Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial/arbitration (first or second chair depending on experience and case level) when necessary
Maintain consistent, clear communication with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
Work closely with an experienced litigation support team in a collaborative environment
Requirements:
Licensed and in good standing in Delaware (or eligible for admission)
Less than seven years of experience in litigation with experience trying cases (medical malpractice preferred)
Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
Strong organizational and case management abilities
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
