This role is designed to be fully remote, utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct sessions with clients across Pembroke Pines, Florida, and potentially beyond. Counselors will engage with clients in a confidential, secure virtual environment, using cutting-edge technology to facilitate effective therapy sessions. • Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate client needs and develop tailored treatment plans focused on achieving their therapeutic goals.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to support individuals, couples, and families.
• Regularly collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive, holistic care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation that adheres to ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring compliance with all policies.
• Stay current with developments in mental health practices by participating in ongoing professional development opportunities, workshops, and training sessions.

The successful candidate will provide mental health services to a diverse client base dealing with various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients seek guidance and support as they navigate their path toward improved mental health, making it crucial for our counselors to approach each session with sensitivity and a deep understanding of individual circumstances.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services, preferably with a focus on clinical practice.
• Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations relevant to counseling.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Experience in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, or family dynamics is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related software tools.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
