Companion Or Personal In Home Care Assistant

You can make a difference in your career by helping people stay in the comfort of their homes! Right at Home is looking to hire Companion or Personal In Home Care Assistants!

We have immediate 4, 6, 8, and 12 hour shifts available. Ask about our $300 signing bonus.

Job Description:

Perform client care activities that assist with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to): personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom, showering/bathing, oral hygiene, skin, hair, and dressing) ambulation/transfers/wheelchair assistance, meal preparation, accompany patients on errands or medical appointments. Providing light housekeeping which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroom. We offer hands-on skills training in Parkinson's Care, Alzheimer's Care, Stroke Recovery Care, Post-Surgical Care. Performs patient-specific activities. These could include but are not limited to medication reminders, assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises, measuring and preparing special diets, incontinence care..etc.

Requirements:

High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job. Must be able to pass a background check, TB test, DMV check, and drug screen. Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile. Proof of COVID vaccination required.

Compensation: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
