Good Shepherd Village at Endwell is looking for some caring individuals to be a Personal Companion/Assistant to our beloved residents.
Position Details
Per Diem position; possible 1-2 days per week; hours vary per week. Monday - Friday.
Position Summary
A Personal Assistant is responsible to assist residents with a variety of assigned duties that will enhance the residents social, mental and physical wellbeing.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with household chores, grocery shopping, medication reminders, light housekeeping, occasional meal preparation and other duties as required
  • Provide transportation for shopping and medical appointments
  • Provides companionship to activities such as concerts, sporting events, club memberships, etc.

Essential Job Requirements
Education: High School diploma or GED preferred
License: Active NY Drivers License required
Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age. Ability to read, write and speak the English language
Experience: Previous personal companion experience preferred
