Job description

Front Desk, Office Operations & Team Support

About Inland Homes

Inland Homes is a family-operated homebuilder with 38 years of experience. We're a small, hands-on team, and our headquarters is where it all comes together for our teammates and everyone who calls or visits our office.

The Role

We're looking for a bright, energetic person to oversee the upkeep and improvement of our office environment to ensure it runs smoothly every day. Someone who will be the first voice and face our teammates, trade partners, job candidates and visitors experience. This role combines our Office Coordinator responsibilities with front desk and reception duties: greeting visitors, answering and routing phone calls, and providing personal assistant support to our leadership team. You'll also run our food and beverage program and help coordinate company events and team support. It's a hands-on, detail-oriented role for someone who takes pride in creating a great experience for everyone who interacts with our office.

What You'll Do

Front Desk & Reception

  • Greet visitors and manage the front desk and reception area
  • Answer, route and manage incoming calls, voicemail and the reception inbox
  • Provide personal assistant support to leadership as needed

Office Presentation & Facilities

  • Keep Inland HQ clean, organized, presentable and fully stocked
  • Coordinate vendors for cleaning, plant service and building maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
  • Oversee upkeep of office appliances and equipment, and monitor the building alarm system

Food & Beverage Program

  • Run Inland's office food and beverage program, keeping the kitchen well-stocked and organized day to day

Events, Culture & Calendars

  • Coordinate company events and seasonal office decor
  • Track team milestones and maintain company calendars

Other Responsibilities

  • Order sales and construction office supplies
  • Coordinate with our third-party IT provider on office technology needs
  • Uphold and embody the Inland Way — leading by example
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in office management, administrative support, or front desk/reception
  • A warm, professional presence — you'll represent Inland to everyone who calls or visits our office
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Comfortable coordinating light facilities work and vendor scheduling
  • Proficiency with everyday office software and calendar tools
  • Notary license (nice-to-have, not necessary)

Working Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
