Private Client in Portland, OR Seeking a Full-Time Personal Assistant (Must be a DOG-LOVER!)

Position:Personal Assistant
Schedule:MondayFriday, approximately 4048 hours/week (typically 9:00 AM5:30/6 PM)
Salary:Approximately $80-100,000/year (DOE), plus health stipend and PTO

About the Principal

A private principal who recently relocated from the East Coast to Portland is seeking a highly capable, long-term Personal Assistant to help manage her day-to-day life and household operations. This is a high-trust, dynamic role for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

The principal values loyalty, discretion, and genuine connection, and is looking for someone who will become a long-term, integral part of her life and team.


About the Role

This position blends personal, household, and business support, focusing on three primary areas of responsibility:

1. Dog Care (Large-Breed Dog- Bull Mastiff)

  • Oversee all aspects of care (feeding, supplies, scheduling walks)
  • Coordinate vet appointments
  • Assist with sourcing support for dog-related needs (e.g., handlers)
  • Ensure overall organization and wellbeing
  • Support the oversight and management of the client's show dog, including coordination of grooming, training, and show-related needs.

2. Personal & Household Support

  • Manage errands (groceries, dry cleaning, etc.)
  • Oversee home renovation projects and coordinate contractors
  • Manage and track household operations and maintenance
  • Assist with an out-of-state rental property and liaise with property managers
  • Handle administrative projects (e.g., documentation, account updates, organization)

3. Business Support (Evolving Role)

  • Assist with early-stage business planning and organization
  • Support hiring efforts and operational setup
