JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a customer-focused Personal Lines Associate Account Manager who is eager to learn and serve as a point of contact for our clients. This position is focused on understanding the basics of insurance coverage and assisting in data entry and rating quotes while remaining clear of errors. This individual will collaborate with team members in managing personal accounts and assist Account Managers with daily tasks. This position requires a combination of excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES
  • Prepare for the property and casualty licensing exam, and participate in Total CSR courses
  • Work collaboratively on a team to monitor and complete tasks in different workflows including, but not limited to: shared email inboxes, phone ring groups, and the agency documentation system
  • Maintain client files in the agency management system following standard company policies and procedures, ensuring #oneTEAM's mission of service
  • Develop relationships with partner insurance carriers and underwriting teams
  • Assist in sending ID cards, handling non-complex endorsements, processing cancellations, answering billing questions, and responding to voicemails in the service inbox in a timely, accurate manner
  • Remarket renters and auto policies, and generate toy quotes for clients
  • Assist in greeting and handling customer walk-ins, along with drop-off payments
  • Follow all federal and state regulations, and best practices for avoiding errors and omissions
  • Attend and participate in personal lines meetings, training, and classes
  • Continue professional development; pursue and maintain licensing and designations as applicable

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
  • A combination of education and experience generally attained through a high school degree, bachelor's degree, and a minimum of 3 years customer service experience
  • Willingness to obtain an insurance license
  • Demonstrated success in customer service
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, demonstrating ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to identify problems and lead by example
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime, nights, and weekends to attend events and meetings as needed

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Incumbents must be able to use telephones, calculators, copy machines, computers, printers, and other office equipment.

The work environment is primarily indoors. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The estimated range for this full-time position is $23.56 - $26.44 hourly, plus benefits. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The hiring range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
