Job description


Palm Health is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled full-time Pathologist because a member is set to retire. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment, providing critical diagnostic services that directly impact patient care.
Job Details:
  • Monday- Friday 8 A- 6 P; no weekends/ no call
  • Anticipated Time To Start: April 2025
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Roughly 15-30 cases in range (mixture of small biopsies, cyto, GYN, skin including large surgery cases)
  • The medical staff consists of 5 pathologists, 2 part-time pathologists, 3 pathology assistants,
  • PAs perform gross specimens- pathologist solely reads microscope
  • 4 Cyto Tech Screeners on staff
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations on surgical specimens, biopsies, cytology, and other laboratory tests.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and tumor boards (if applicable).
  • Oversee and maintain laboratory quality assurance and compliance with accreditation standards.
