Job Summary
Position is a 6 hour work day which mimics student school schedule. This position will be assigned to a bus route daily. No experience necessary will be trained upon hire. Placement on salary schedule is based on education, training, and experience.
Job Description / Essential Elements:
Must possess a valid california Class B Driver's license with a passenger endorsement, School Bus Driver's Certificate; valid Medical Certificate Form DL 51-A; and Red cross First Aid/CPR Certificate or comparable; or be eligible for a bus operator's permit by the California Highway Patrol. Knowledge of local roadways and special driving problems and techniques caused by frequent inclement weather; safe driving practices; California Motor Vehicle Code

This position will be assigned to a bus route daily and/or may cover other unassigned routes, which will require:
California Class B Driver's license with a passenger endorsement
School Bus Driver's Certificate
Valid Medical Certificate Form DL 51-A
Red Cross First Aid/CPR Certificate or comparable
Bus operator's permit by the California Highway Patrol
Bus Driver Hiring Incentive if applicable
Knowledge of local roadways and special driving problems and techniques caused by frequent inclement weather; safe driving practices; California Motor Vehicle Code. Training and licensure assistance is available.
