Warehouse Associate

Location: Calgary, AB

Position Type: Permanent Full-Time

Hourly Rate: $23.23 CAD

Summary

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packaged, and delivered while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations. Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and cross-functional teams, you will help keep materials moving safely and efficiently throughout the operation to meet customer and business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, package, label, and verify customer orders while ensuring all shipping documentation is completed correctly.
  • Perform stock put-away activities and conduct inventory cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials.
  • Operate material handling equipment to retrieve, move, and stage products for shipment.
  • Lift, move, place, and seal products into shipping cartons while maintaining accuracy and productivity standards.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to put-away, replenishment, staging, loading, and shipping activities.
  • Maintain organized warehouse locations within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support efficient processing and maximize warehouse utilization.
  • Collaborate with Receiving, Production, Field Services, and Quality teams to support operational requirements.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and maintain shipment verification records.
  • Support additional warehouse tasks as needed to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet operational targets.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to operate basic shop tools such as drills and saws.

Preferred

  • Previous forklift operating experience.
  • 1-2 years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or related experience.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Experience working in a warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Experience in a physically demanding, labor-intensive environment.

Schedule & Physical Requirements

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
  • Regular standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and material handling throughout the shift.
  • Approximately 4-5 hours per day operating a forklift, with the remaining time supporting loading, unloading, order preparation, and material movement activities.
