Registered Nurse - L&D

RN Operating Room / Labor & Delivery assignment for a 13-week contract working night shift, three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. This role supports Labor & Delivery patients with assignments including labor inductions, antepartum care, and circulating responsibilities in the OB Operating Room. The RN will provide comprehensive maternal and surgical nursing care while collaborating closely with physicians, anesthesia, surgical teams, and interdisciplinary staff in a fast-paced hospital environment. Experience with OB surgical procedures and high-risk maternal care is highly valued.

Requirements:

  • Active Ohio RN license or active Compact RN license required
  • Minimum 18 months permanent RN experience in specialty required
  • Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
  • OB Operating Room circulating experience required
  • Antepartum and induction patient care experience required
  • Active AHA BLS certification required
  • Active ACLS certification required
  • Active NRP certification required
  • Active STABLE certification required
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • EPIC Stork experience preferred
  • Two supervisory references from manager/director level within past 12 months required
  • Active certifications required at submission with nothing pending
  • Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and Safe Medicate testing during orientation
