• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health difficulties and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop individualized therapy programs tailored to clients’ unique challenges and therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic sessions, both individually and in group formats, utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant methodologies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers in a multidisciplinary approach to oversee and enhance comprehensive client care.
• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families, guiding them through the complexities of the healing process.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in adherence to regulatory and ethical standards, ensuring that all documentation reflects the client’s progress and treatment journey.

Our therapy center serves a diverse clientele comprising individuals, couples, and families who face various challenges including relationship issues, communication breakdowns, and navigating family dynamics. The clients you will work with may experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your role as an LMFT is vital, as you will help clients learn coping strategies, restore relationships, and improve overall mental health quality.

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships built on trust, empathy, and active listening.
• Strong conflict-resolution skills and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences are essential in this role.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills to balance client needs and administrative duties concurrently.

• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a mental health setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and updated techniques within the field of marriage and family therapy.
• Knowledge of cultural competence and sensitivity in addressing diverse backgrounds and family structures.
