Title:                   Manager, Sales Training, Medical Aesthetics

Reporting to    Chief Human Resources Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, results-driven and performance-driven Manager, Sales Training, Medical Aesthetics to join our team! Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Manager, Sales Training, Medical Aesthetics will be responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously enhancing training programs that elevate the performance of the sales organization. Partnering closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Clinical Education, and Product Management, this role will ensure sales representatives possess the product knowledge, clinical understanding, selling skills, and business acumen necessary to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and maximize customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in medical aesthetics, capital equipment sales, and adult learning methodologies, along with a passion for developing high-performing sales professionals.



Responsibilities

Sales Training & Development

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new sales representatives.
  • Design and facilitate ongoing training focused on sales skills, product knowledge, clinical applications, competitive positioning, and territory management.
  • Conduct classroom, virtual, and field-based training sessions.
  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance sales training.
  • Create certification programs and learning pathways for sales professionals at varying levels of experience.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to sales representatives and sales managers.

Product & Clinical Education

  • Develop training materials related to aesthetic technologies, treatment indications, patient outcomes, and practice economics.
  • Ensure the sales team can effectively communicate product features, benefits, ROI, and clinical differentiation.
  • Partner with Clinical Training/Medical Affairs teams to maintain training accuracy and compliance.

Sales Effectiveness

  • Evaluate sales competencies and identify development opportunities through ride-alongs, observations, and performance assessments.
  • Conduct field coaching sessions and provide actionable feedback.
  • Implement best practices in prospecting, consultative selling, objection handling, negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Support the adoption of CRM tools, sales processes, and performance metrics.

Training Content Development

  • Develop training manuals, e-learning modules, presentations, playbooks, videos, and reference guides.
  • Create competitive intelligence and battle cards to support field sales efforts.
  • Update training content to reflect new product launches, market trends, and competitive changes.

New Product Launch Support

  • Partner with Product Management and Marketing to develop launch training strategies.
  • Lead sales readiness activities for new device introductions and technology enhancements.
  • Ensure all sales personnel achieve training certification before product launch.

Performance Measurement

  • Track training effectiveness through assessments, certifications, sales performance metrics, and participant feedback.
  • Develop KPIs to measure learning outcomes and business impact.
  • Provide regular reporting to Sales Leadership regarding training initiatives and results.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Advanced certifications in sales training, coaching, or adult learning are considered an asset.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or commercial learning and development.
  • Experience training sales professionals in a global sales organization.
  • Experience supporting aesthetic technologies such as laser, RF, body contouring, or skin resurfacing.
  • Strong knowledge of the medical aesthetics marketplace.
  • Expertise in consultative and solution-based selling methodologies.
  • Ability to train complex clinical and technical concepts in a simple and compelling manner.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce) and sales performance analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Teams, and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities.

Travel requirements

  • Ability to travel 25-35% throughout the United States and Canada, some international travel may be required.
  • Attendance at national sales meetings, customer events, tradeshows, and training programs as required.

Compensation

  • Base salary range: $100,000-$125,000 + bonus
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package starting on Day 1, covering medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) match, among other benefits.
