Job Description
• The Department of Dermatology seeks academic-minded dermatologists and dermatopathologists to join our full-time faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor.
• Board-certified and board-eligible physicians with strong interests in the following dermatology specialties are encouraged to apply:
• Our department serves a diverse, medically complex population within the greater Pittsburgh area, while also drawing patients from throughout Pennsylvania and the tri-state area.
• The expansive University of Pittsburgh/UPMC campus includes 40 hospitals, 800 outpatient clinical locations, and an international healthcare presence.
• The Department of Dermatology sees patients in our seven clinics, providing services that include general dermatology, phototherapy, laser, Mohs micrographic surgery and aesthetic services as well as inpatient consultations.
• Our Dermatopathology unit is onsite in our Oakland campus, with four full-time dermatopathologists and two dermatopathology fellows. Our teledermatology program provides synchronous and asynchronous care to patients throughout the state, is utilized for inpatient consults and in-office e-consults with community physicians.
• Additionally, we have opportunities for clinical research and collaboration with clinical and basic science colleagues on campus available to those with a research interest.
