Summary
The Data Analyst will support to conceive, develop, mature, maintain, and transition novel and innovative FMI applications, capabilities, tradecraft, and insight from large and complex data. They will will leverage data science and modeling, data discovery, collection, curation, and enrichment, software engineering, and spatiotemporal technologies and methods for event detection and validation of I&W methodologies.
Position Responsibilities
  • Innovative Development: Conceive, develop, and transition novel FMI applications and tradecraft derived from large-scale data environments.
  • Data Lifecycle Management: Lead efforts in data discovery, collection, curation, and enrichment to ensure high-quality inputs for complex modeling.
  • Advanced Analytics: Utilize data science and modeling techniques to improve event detection and the validation of I&W frameworks.
  • Spatiotemporal Analysis: Apply spatiotemporal technologies and methods to track and analyze geographic and time-based data patterns.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable status reports and presentations for mission partners and leadership.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of dedicated experience in Data Analysis or Data Science.
  • Professional experience developing and scripting in Python.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present complex findings to diverse audiences.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Desired Skills & Competencies
  • Experience with Splunk for data indexing and analysis is a significant plus.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $190,000
The AV pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
