JOB DETAILS
Job Summary
The Deli Manager is responsible for overseeing all deli department operations, including food safety, inventory management, merchandising, and team performance. This role ensures compliance with company standards, maintains high levels of product quality and freshness, and supports overall sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily deli operations to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation
  • Maintain accurate inventory through proper stock rotation, replenishment, and monitoring of product levels
  • Ensure all deli products are handled, prepared, and stored in accordance with company and food safety standards
  • Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items
  • Supervise and manage department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures and performance expectations
  • Coordinate merchandising, signage, and product displays to support sales and customer engagement
  • Review inventory trends, shrink, and discrepancies to identify and address concerns
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal audit standards
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the deli department
Qualifications
