Registered Nurse - Pediatric Surgery (Day Shift)
  • Location: Atlanta, GA, 30329
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 8-hour Day (06:45 AM – 03:15 PM), Monday – Friday
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Weekly Pay Rate: $2,560 - $2,800; Depending on experience (negotiable)

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with Pediatric Surgery experience to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Operating Room (OR), pediatric patient care, and a variety of surgical specialties including neuro, ortho, ENT, general, and ophthalmology. This is a day-shift role that requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.


      Responsibilities:

      • Provide safe, competent, and compassionate perioperative care to pediatric patients.
      • Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, including Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Ophthalmology surgeries.
      • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and perioperative interventions in EPIC EMR.
      • Collaborate effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other perioperative staff.
      • Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-operatively and intervene appropriately.
      • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
      • Maintain current certifications and participate in continuing education as required.

        Required Qualifications:

        • RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
        • Minimum 2+ years of OR experience with documented travel experience.
        • Pediatric experience preferred.
        • Current BLS, PALS, PEARS, and CNOR certifications.
        • Experience with EPIC EMR required.
        • Proficiency in Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Ophthalmology surgeries.
