Within the Labor & Delivery setting, the RN Educator, Labor & Delivery will support a highly successful birthing center and maternity services team while enjoying the resources of a comprehensive health system with strong academic affiliations and specialty expertise. This growing regional referral hospital continues to invest in women's health, surgical services, outpatient expansion, and state-of-the-art maternal-child, surgical, and ambulatory care facilities. Reporting to Maternal Child Health leadership, the RN Educator, Labor & Delivery partners closely with Labor & Delivery, NICU, Pediatrics, Quality, Risk Management, and Infection Prevention teams to provide focused educational programs, coordinate annual competency assessments, onboard and mentor new team members, develop and revise newborn and perinatal policies, monitor regulatory compliance, and champion initiatives that improve patient safety and the overall patient experience.

Candidates who earn quick interviews typically possess an active North Carolina RN license, current BLS certification, and a minimum of five years of experience in Maternal Child Health, NICU, or Pediatrics. An advanced nursing degree along with specialty certifications in perinatal nursing and clinical education are highly preferred.
