Job description

Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Sr Production Line Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and drive production line efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience from a high-volume manufacturing environment to ensure smooth workflows, minimize downtime, and guide teams of engineers, technicians, and operators. A deep, practical understanding of automated machinery, quality control standards, and production scaling is essential. You will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet output goals while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and rigorous standards.
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and allocate production line manpower efficiently to meet daily manufacturing targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to track work orders and proactively resolve any issues related to new or existing work orders.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the engineering team, ensuring they receive proper training, support, and guidance.
  • Support and maintain daily production operations.
  • Other duties as needed or required.
  • Up to 5 - 15% international travel is expected for this position.

Supervisory Responsibilities
The qualified candidate will assist the production line manager to supervise all operators, technicians, and supervisors. This role will be directly responsible for organizing employee schedules, approving time sheets, and approving Paid Time Off requests from subordinates.
Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proven background and working experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills to manage multiple/concurrent projects and production goals.
  • MES/ERP system Experience.
  • Six Sigma Management and CAD design certifications a plus

Skills and Competencies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good skills interpreting data.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

Work Environment
  • Continually walking, lifting, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping and crouching.
  • Must be willing and able to work in a cleanroom environment around equipment and maintain protocol and dress-code, including a full-body gown and face mask, no perfume, and no make-up.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. of weight continuously.
