BLUMOON SCENTS is a creative DIY studio offering hands-on fragrance experiences in candle, soap, body butter, perfume-making, and more. Our mission is to create unforgettable moments through scent, self-care, and community - one blend at a time.
Job Overview:
The Party Host is responsible for hosting and leading BLUMOON’s Do-It-Yourself experiences both in-studio and at off-site events. This role requires strong communication skills, confidence in leading groups, and the ability to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Hosting:
  • Lead guests through hands-on workshops, including candles, soaps, perfumes, and body butter.
  • Host private parties, corporate events, and in-studio sessions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guests feel supported throughout their experience.
Event & Market Representation:
  • Represent BLUMOON at community events, pop-ups, and markets.
  • Engage with customers, explain services, and promote the brand.
  • Assist with product sales and booking future experiences.
Operations Support:
  • Assist with event setup, breakdown, and cleanup.
  • Maintain organization of supplies and studio cleanliness.
  • Ensure workshops start and end on time.

Qualifications:
  • Outgoing, energetic, and confident with exceptional communication skills (written + verbal).
  • Loves engaging with people and thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Retail, sales, hospitality, or events experience is a plus.
  • Strong public speaking and group-leading skills.
  • Creative mindset with a love for fragrance, skincare, and self-care products.

  • Open availability on evenings and weekends is required.
