Job Description We are seeking an experienced Performance Engineer to join our Automation/Performance Engineering team. In this role, you will own the performance engineering strategy and execution for Receivables, partnering with Application Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to define non-functional requirements, build scalable performance test frameworks, and drive actionable improvements across application, database, network, and infrastructure layers. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and analyzing performance tests, instrumenting systems for observability, and translating results into performance tuning and release decisions.

Job responsibilities * Define and own the performance engineering strategy and roadmap; design, build, and maintain robust performance test frameworks for UI, API, microservices, and data workflows. * Lead the end-to-end performance testing lifecycle: requirements gathering, workload modeling, environment setup, execution (load, stress, endurance), and results analysis. * Instrument systems and develop observability dashboards to capture SLIs/SLOs, latency, throughput, error rates, and resource utilization; integrate these metrics with performance test reports.

* Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks and root causes across application, database, network, and infrastructure layers; drive performance tuning and architectural improvements with partner teams. * Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines; establish automated reporting, quality gates, and release readiness criteria based on performance benchmarks. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define non-functional requirements and ensure performance goals are met throughout the development lifecycle.

* Produce clear documentation, dashboards, and release readiness reports; communicate performance findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills * 5+ years in performance engineering and software test automation, covering AWS and on-prem platforms. * Strong coding skills in one or more: Java, JavaScript, Groovy, TypeScript, Python.

* Hands-on experience with performance testing and automation tools, including JMeter, BlazeMeter, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and Cucumber. * Working proficiency with development toolsets and CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, IntelliJ IDEA, VS Code. * Familiarity with distributed services, microservices architecture in AWS; Kubernetes; databases such as Oracle and MongoDB.

* Experience with observability tooling and metrics: Dynatrace, Geneos, Splunk, Grafana; ability to interpret system/resource metrics and application telemetry. * Familiar with Agile Methodology; ability to work independently with strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams.
