Job description

Test Engineer Level 1

We are seeking a Test Engineer Level 1 to support the testing and validation of mission-critical geospatial applications and Java microservices within the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will have experience with automated and manual testing, Python, and software quality assurance.

Required Responsibilities
  • Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
  • Perform manual, regression, and performance testing
  • Identify, document, and track software defects
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure software quality
  • Create and maintain test documentation
  • Support continuous improvement of testing processes
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • 2+ years of Test Engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexity
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (four additional years of Test Engineer experience may be substituted for the degree)
  • Strong Python programming experience for test automation, framework development, and CI/CD integration
  • Ability to mentor junior Test Engineers
Desired Skills
  • Experience testing geospatial applications, Java microservices, and RESTful APIs
  • Test automation with Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks
