Job description

Overview

At Drybar, our philosophy is simple: Focus on one thing and be the best at it. For us, that's blowouts. No cuts. No color. Just blowouts.

What started as one shop in Brentwood has grown into a nationally recognized brand with over 100 locations, and we're just getting started. Our shops are fast-paced, energetic, and filled with people who love making others feel confident, beautiful, and cared for.

We're looking for an exceptional Shop Manager to lead the charge. Someone who can inspire a team, build meaningful relationships, drive business results, and create an unforgettable experience for every client who walks through our doors.

As the Shop Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of the shop. You'll lead by example, develop future leaders, champion our culture, and ensure the business runs as beautifully as the blowouts we deliver. If you're equal parts coach, motivator, problem-solver, and business leader, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of stylists, front desk associates, and shop leaders to deliver the ultimate Drybar experience.
  • Bring Drybar's Heart & Soul values to life every day through your leadership and actions.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top talent while building a strong pipeline of future leaders.
  • Foster relationships with local beauty schools, industry professionals, and community partners.
  • Create a positive, high-energy culture where people feel supported, challenged, and celebrated.
  • Build genuine connections with clients and ensure every visit exceeds expectations.
  • Own the business, including sales performance, staffing, operational execution, and profitability.
  • Analyze shop performance and use key metrics to drive results and maximize growth.
  • Resolve client and employee concerns with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll, inventory management, and day-to-day operations to keep the shop running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of management experience in a retail, hospitality, salon, or service-focused environment.
  • Experience leading teams of 15 or more employees.
  • A natural coach who loves developing people and helping them grow.
  • Strong recruiting and talent development experience.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proven ability to drive sales, manage operations, and achieve business goals.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Salon experience and/or a cosmetology license is a plus, but not required.
Why Drybar?

Because great hair isn't the only thing we create.

We build careers. We celebrate individuality. We cheer each other on. We work hard, laugh often, and believe that confidence starts with feeling your best.

If you're ready to lead an amazing team, make an impact, and help bring fabulous hair to the masses, we'd love to hear from you.
