Job description

Read this before you apply

This is not a corporate job. There's no ping-pong table, no endless meetings, no hiding in the org chart. This is a figure-it-out, outwork-everyone environment — and if that sentence fired you up instead of scaring you off, keep reading.

We're building a high-performance recruiting team for the skilled trades (HVAC and related roles), and we hire entrepreneurs — people who treat their seat like a business they own. You'll start as a Recruiting Coordinator. You will not stay one for long if you're good.

The career path

Get in on the ground floor and climb:
Recruiting Coordinator ? Lead Recruiter ? Recruiting Manager

Every promotion here is earned by performance, not tenure. Top performers on this track reach $100K on-target earnings. You'll build a real recruiting skill set alongside other A-players — sourcing, screening, closing — the skills that pay for the rest of your career.

What you'll own

You run the full front end of the pipeline, start to finish:

  • Build search criteria from active job reqs and run Boolean searches on Indeed to generate candidate shortlists
  • Filter and prioritize candidates on experience, certifications, and job stability
  • Track down direct contact info (TruePeopleSearch) when the easy path dies
  • Hit the phones: calls, texts, and Indeed messages — every touch logged in the tracker
  • Run initial phone screens to confirm experience and gauge interest
  • Complete reference checks and document everything before a candidate advances
  • Book confirmed candidates onto the Lead Recruiter's calendar with prep notes
  • Hand off fully-screened, fully-documented candidates — no loose ends

This is a high-volume, multi-touchpoint pipeline. You'll manage a lot of moving pieces every single day.

Who wins here

  • You outwork everyone in the room and you're proud of it
  • You pick up the phone without hesitating — strong communicator, great screener
  • You're relentlessly organized: airtight documentation, nothing slips
  • You figure things out. Nobody hands you a playbook — you build one
  • You want a long-term career in recruiting, not just a job
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar recruiting, sourcing, or high-volume outreach role
  • Boolean search and sourcing tools (Indeed, LinkedIn, HireClick, TruePeopleSearch) — experience is a plus; hunger to master them is required
  • Skilled trades familiarity (HVAC) is a bonus, not a requirement

Do NOT apply if

  • You want to be told exactly what to do every day
  • You need a slow, comfortable corporate environment
  • You clock-watch
  • You're looking for "a job" instead of a career you can build

Compensation & Commitment

  • Base compensation: $80,000/year + performance bonus structure
  • This is a full workday role: 8-9 hours per day
  • $100K+ on-target earnings as you advance on the recruiting track — you start as a Coordinator, you earn your way up, and the money follows performance

Tools you'll use

Indeed (Professional Plan), HireClick, TruePeopleSearch, LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, GHL (CRM), shared calendar booking, candidate tracker.

How to apply: Along with your resume, tell us in 3–5 sentences about the hardest thing you've ever ground out to the finish. That answer matters more to us than your resume does.
