Job description

Azure Monitoring Engineer

Design and implement monitoring strategies using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports to provide visibility into system health and performance.

Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Application teams to define KPIs and SLAs.

Analyze telemetry data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.

Automate monitoring configurations and alerting rules using Client templates, Bicep, or Terraform.

Integrate monitoring tools with incident management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, PagerDuty).

Provide recommendations for performance optimization and capacity planning.

Conduct root cause analysis and post-incident reviews using monitoring data.

Stay current with Azure updates and best practices in cloud observability.

Proven experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, Microservices, and Distributed Systems.

Experience with Kusto Query Language (KQL) for querying telemetry data.

Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (Client), Terraform, or Bicep.
