Performance Engineer

Location : Sunnyvale, CA

Duration : 12 Months

Job Description:

Non functional requirements collection from different stake holders

Build the work load model by using production logs and Splunk

Test script development by using different tools like Apache Jmeter and HP Load runner or App perfect

Design the different set of scenarios like peak load test, endurance test, stress test, scalability test etc.

Execute different types of test runs

Client Side and Server Side Reports, Collate the reports, correlate the test results

Monitor the server side metrics through Hubble, Foglight, HP Performance manager

Trouble shoot the issues by co-ordinating with dev and capacity teams

Provide an effective test results analysis to tune the application performance

Nice to have:

Client and server side profiling by using different set of tools like developer tools, J profiler and Dynatrace

Knowledge on Mongo DB and MMS, OEM, AWR reports

Integration knowledge on Jenkins, Jmeter, Splunk and the monitoring tools to have a single dashboard structure

Performance Infrastructure (Tools, Scripting to collate and corelate logs, CI background, Unix Background, Add value to the analysis, Know how to investigate performance issues)

APM, CI kind of work with custom tools etc. Jenkins, Selenium + JMeter kind of use case based testing.
