This is a hybrid position, and this person will need to come into the office a few times per month. Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance to our Linthicum, Maryland Headquarters.

What you will do:

The Performance Marketing Analyst will use data, reporting, and market insights to evaluate marketing performance, identify opportunities, and support strategic decision-making across SECUs marketing channels. This role partners with marketing, digital, product, and business intelligence teams to analyze campaign results, improve member acquisition and engagement, and provide clear recommendations that help drive measurable business outcomes.

The Performance Marketing Analyst adheres to regulations and organizational policies, maintaining awareness and knowledge required to perform the duties of the position, including all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations, such as OFAC, and the USA Patriot Act, Fair Lending and Information Security.

A day in your life might include:

Campaign Performance & Optimization

  • Analyze performance across paid media, email, SEO/SEM, and digital campaigns
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, conversion rates, and member growth
  • Provide actionable recommendations to optimize campaigns in-flight and post-campaign

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Identify trends in member behavior, competitive landscape, segmentation, and lifecycle stages
  • Conduct A/B testing and incrementality analysis to measure true impact

Attribution & Measurement

  • Support development of multi-touch attribution models and marketing mix insights
  • Evaluate channel performance and budget allocation efficiency
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accurate tracking and tagging

Member & Market Insights

  • Analyze member acquisition, retention, and product usage trends
  • Support segmentation strategies for personalized marketing efforts
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis within the financial services landscape

Reporting & Communication

  • Build executive-ready reports and presentations that tell a clear story
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to marketing leadership
  • Continuously improve reporting processes and data visualization standards
  • Additional Tasks may be assigned as necessary

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field required
  • At least 35 years of experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics, or performance marketing
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta, email platforms, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Solid understanding of marketing KPIs and funnel metrics
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong organization skills with keen attention to detail

Compensation Information: Offers will be commensurate with experience and education. Please Note: The budgeted salary range for this position is $75k - $85k/yr.
