Overview

The Manager of Medicare Marketing and Sales will oversee the development and execution ofPartnership's Medicare D-SNP marketing and sales strategy focused on driving smart andmeasurable growth. The Marketing manager will lead a team that collaborates with Partnershipleadership to understand the unique opportunities within each market and deliver on sales andretention goals.

Responsibilities

Leads the development and execution of Partnership's D-SNP marketing and salesstrategy to deliver on new member enrollment and member retention targets. Develops and executes strategic sales plan aligning with Partnership objectives. Attends community events (i.e. member-facing health fairs) to promote enrollment inPartnership's D-SNP product. Monitors and identifies changes in the marketing environment and competitive strategies.Evaluates and adjusts marketing strategy (positioning, competitive messaging, etc.) asrequired. Proactively identifies new ideas and opportunities to grow Partnership's D-SNPenrollment. Gathers member feedback and identifies opportunities to align Partnership's D-SNPproduct with member needs and expectations - addressing issues and challenges that mayaffect sales targets. Oversees the production of marketing and sales digital and print creative, includingengagement with internal departments and external vendors. Ensures all required member material meets regulatory requirements and works closelywith Compliance to meet CMS submission deadlines. Manages the team's execution of marketing plans and closely monitorsoutcomes/metrics. Implements effective tracking mechanisms for tracking daily, weekly,monthly, and yearly activities and productivity. Regularly provides and presents updates to key internal and external stakeholdersregarding marketing initiatives and impact. Establishes broker oversight, including training the marketing and sales team to ensureproduct expertise and compliance with sales regulations. Establishes rapid disenrollment monitoring, marketing and sales grievance investigations,and call monitoring.

Initiates and executes on opportunities for sales presentations, community events, and otherresident activities within assigned communities to support individual and team enrollmentgoals. Collaborates with clinical teammates to optimize results Maintains professional knowledge of Medicare and Medi-Cal benefits by successfullycompleting all required training and certifications and by attending educational workshops. Follows all state and federal regulatory guidelines by adhering to sales and marketingrequirements established by CMS, MIPPA, DHCS, and other policies and proceduresimplemented by the Compliance Department. Participates on assigned committees Provides on-going coaching, mentoring, and development of employees, fostering anatmosphere of teamwork. Establish individual team member goals and assist in theachievement of those goals. Manages and updates internal Marketing and Sales policies. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in a relevant field. Three - Five (3-5) years of relatedexperience that would provide the knowledge and abilities listed above,including: Medicare Advantage marketing and sales within an HMO;

 

 

Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications

Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications Working knowledge ofcomputers and related business software applications. Basicunderstanding of Medicare marketing principles. Familiarity withCalifornia Medi-Cal program and/or Medicare program preferred. ValidCalifornia driver's license or other approved means of transportationmay be required.

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellentinterpersonal skills to develop and maintain critical relationships withexternal sources. Ability to handle varying situations with tact anddiplomacy

Work Environment And Physical Demands

Ability to use a computer keyboard. More than 15% of work time isspent in front of a computer monitor. When required, must be able tomove, lift, or carry objects of varying size, weighing up to 35 lbs. Mustbe able to operate a vehicle used for company business. Travel may berequired to attend community events.

$122,667.11 - $159,467.24
