The team is accountable for the technical and commercial performance of our ESS supply chain, driving quality, cost, and delivery outcomes across a complex global supplier base.
About The Role - Global Supply Chain Management Intern

You'll support key initiatives across sourcing, logistics, planning, and supplier engagement for our next-generation sodium-ion battery program.
This is an exciting opportunity to learn how to build a supply chain from the ground up and to make a meaningful impact on domestic clean tech manufacturing.

  • Assist in the development and execution of supply chain strategies for ESS components
  • Conduct supplier research and help draft RFIs/RFQs for critical components
  • Support supplier onboarding, including vetting, qualification, and data management
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) builds by tracking material readiness, managing build plans, and ensuring on-time Clear to Build (CTB) status
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to support NPI & Pilot builds
  • Assist with logistics planning and cost optimization for international and domestic shipments
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders to support strategic decision-making

  • Interest in clean tech, energy storage, and/or domestic manufacturing policy
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Self-starter with a willingness to dive into ambiguity and solve problems
  • Prior internship or project experience in supply chain, operations, or procurement is a plus

What You'll Gain:
  • Exposure to building a supply chain from scratch for an innovative ESS product
  • Hands-on experience with supplier strategy, sourcing, and logistics in a high-growth startup environment
  • Mentorship from experienced supply chain leaders working at the intersection of energy and manufacturing
  • A chance to work on meaningful projects that directly contribute to the energy transition

Our Core Values
  • Speed Through Focus - Move fast but understand why. Focus on the goal, don't sacrifice quality.
  • Mission Over Self - It's about the greater good; confident humility. Take ownership and accountability.
  • Face the Brutal Truth - Transparency, honesty, big picture curiosity. Fearless decision making.
  • Be a Good Person - Kindness, collaboration and teamwork.
