Job description

As an Project Manager II, a typical day might include the following:

  • Coordinate the activities of multiple divisions/departments as necessary to meet project objectives. Contribute in consensus decisions among project stakeholders and team members.

  • Work under minimal supervision to establish project plans, and execute and coordinate multiple projects, some crossing different functions/disciplines.

  • Create, maintain, and monitor accurate metrics, project files, and project tracking reports such as time reporting, financial records, schedules, budgets, and summary spreadsheets. Own accurate assessment and analysis of project deliverables to assist the team with meeting project objectives such as cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

  • Readily and promptly identify project performance related issues. Identify, track and help mitigate project related risks.

  • May create and deliver presentations on project status to management.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement to project processes make a significant contribution in making those improvements.

This job might be for you if you:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

  • Typically, 4 years of direct experience in coordinating projects

  • Possess excellent coordination, organization, and prioritizing skills

  • Have demonstrated level knowledge of project management skills, techniques, and terminology

  • Demonstrated basic level of business acumen related to budgets, expense planning, resource allocation, and forecasting

  • Have acquired expert level knowledge of project management skills, techniques, and terminology

  • Have a moderate level of business acumen related to budgets, expense planning, resource allocation, and forecasting

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Have knowledge of Microsoft Project or other project management tracking software

Pay Range Data

Project Manager II - $76,000 - $112,000

We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job and responsibility. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
