Autohaus of North Scottsdale is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Luxury European Automotive Technician to join our elite team. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining high-end European vehicle brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar, and Volkswagen. This position demands a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering superior service that matches the premium quality of the vehicles we support.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on European luxury vehicles using manufacturer-specific tools and procedures.
  • Utilize OEM diagnostic equipment (e.g., STAR, ISTA, ODIS, PIWIS) and software to identify issues and ensure precision repairs.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and recommend service and repair solutions based on vehicle condition and customer needs.
  • Follow manufacturer repair guidelines and maintain compliance with all dealership, warranty, and safety standards.
  • Stay current with the latest technical information, service bulletins, and training from manufacturers.
  • Accurately document all work performed, including test results, parts used, and labor hours.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care of customer vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair needs and vehicle status.
  • Contribute to a high-performance team environment focused on customer satisfaction and vehicle excellence.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience working on European luxury vehicles in a dealership or independent shop.
  • Certification from an accredited automotive technical program (ASE, manufacturer training, etc.) preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, and HVAC.
  • Familiarity with manufacturer diagnostic platforms such as ISTA (BMW), Xentry (Mercedes-Benz), ODIS (VW/Audi), PIWIS (Porsche), etc.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to pursue ongoing training and certifications to stay current in a rapidly evolving industry.
Preferred Experience:

  • Factory-trained or certified in one or more European brands.
  • Experience with performance tuning or customization of high-end European vehicles.
  • EV/hybrid diagnostic and repair knowledge is a plus (e.g., BMW i-series, Audi e-tron, Mercedes EQ, etc.).
