ROLE OVERVIEW

The Growth Performance & Governance Director role reports to the Vice President of Growth. The role serves as the steward of the enterprise growth performance management system, partnering with commercial, marketing, finance, strategy, and business leaders globally to define metrics, govern performance measurement, manage operating cadence, and drive accountability against growth objectives.
This role owns the frameworks, dashboards, scorecards, review processes, and governance mechanisms that enable the Growth organization and business leaders to make faster, data-driven decisions and execute growth priorities consistently across the enterprise. The role helps establish a common language for growth performance, tracks progress against key initiatives, identifies risks and opportunities, and drives corrective actions that improve commercial outcomes. The position plays a critical role in creating visibility and accountability for growth performance at executive leadership levels.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve the enterprise growth performance management system, including KPI definitions, scorecards, dashboards, governance processes, and reporting standards.
  • Establish common definitions, measurement methodologies, and performance metrics that create consistency and transparency across global commercial and growth activities.
  • Lead the enterprise growth operating cadence, including monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews, executive performance reviews, and strategic growth governance forums.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards and growth scorecards that provide visibility into commercial performance, pipeline health, customer growth, strategic initiatives, and key business outcomes.
  • Partner with Commercial Finance, Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and Business Unit leaders to monitor performance against growth targets and identify opportunities to improve results.
  • Own tracking and reporting of enterprise growth initiatives, ensuring clear accountability, milestone achievement, risk management, and realization of expected business value.
  • Coordinate corrective action planning when performance falls short of objectives, facilitating cross-functional alignment and follow-through to improve outcomes.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making by transforming performance data into actionable insights, recommendations, and executive-level business narratives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of growth governance processes, reducing complexity while increasing visibility, discipline, and organizational accountability.
  • Support executive leadership with preparation of performance updates, operating reviews, and strategic growth assessments.
  • Partner with commercial analytics and digital teams to scale performance tracking capabilities, automate reporting where possible, and improve data quality and accessibility.
  • Act as a central connector across the Growth organization, ensuring alignment between growth priorities, performance measurement, governance processes, and enterprise objectives.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Strong business acumen and enterprise mindset
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business actions
  • Excellence in operating rhythm, governance, and execution management
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across functions and leadership levels
  • High level of accountability, discipline, and attention to detail
  • Strategic thinking combined with practical execution focus
  • Results orientation with a focus on measurable business impact
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for simplifying complexity and improving business performance

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in business performance management, strategy execution, commercial operations, finance, consulting, program management, or related disciplines
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Experience establishing or managing business performance systems, governance processes, executive scorecards, and operating cadences
  • Background in large-scale, matrixed global organizations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience translating data into executive insights and business recommendations
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Knowledge of commercial performance metrics, forecasting, dashboards, KPI development, and business review processes
  • Experience working with reporting, analytics, and business intelligence tools
  • Proven track record of driving organizational accountability and delivering measurable business impact
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including experience supporting executive and senior leadership teams
