  • Support the team to manage proactive and reactive media relations activities including delivering timely media responses, supporting earned media opportunities, and supporting the coordination of paid media opportunities
  • Collaborate with and provide communications support to a team of Strategic Communications Partners and Communications Leads on key portfolios and strategic initiatives across Servus.
  • Provide logistical support for Department initiatives, including townhalls and internal/external events, including coordination and booking of events.
  • Support monitoring and reporting across the Division through compiling analytics and updating reports.
  • Other duties as required

What you bring:

Experience:

  • Degree or diploma in communications, public relations or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of communications experience.
  • Strong writing skills are preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Certification: IABC or CPRS membership is considered an asset.

Any other special requirements necessary to do the job:

  • Remote first
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet business needs, support special projects or contribute to crisis or issues management. Travel within Alberta, and occasional in-office attendance in Edmonton or Calgary, may be required.
