Job description

Come join our team! The Vylor Creative Services Leader oversees a team of graphic and motion/digital designers within North America Marketing and Integrated Communications. Responsibilities include oversight of design materials, digital and video assets for sales and marketing needs, creative concept development, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring consistent visual storytelling across print and digital channels. The ideal candidate combines creative expertise in graphic and digital design, art direction, and team leadership to advance the brand(s) in a dynamic agriculture market.
The role will report to the US Leader, Marketing and Integrated Communications.
KEY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Design and Execution
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies that support business objectives, marketing campaigns, product launches, and overall brand identity.
  • Play a key role in establishing and maintaining a cohesive creative vision across multiple platforms, including websites, social media, email marketing, print materials, sales collateral, advertising, video, animation, and other digital channels.
  • Effectively translate marketing goals into engaging visual and narrative concepts.
  • Lead and oversee the design process from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring brand consistency and the highest standards of visual quality.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing Communications Managers, Communication Specialists, Integrated Communications, and Product Marketing teams to interpret and execute creative briefs.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, freelance professionals, and vendors as required.
  • Oversee the digital asset management photo and video library (Ikonic) by collaborating with our external hosting and administrative partner.
  • Design assets for trade shows and customer events.

Team Leadership & Mentorship
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of graphic and motion/digital designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Deliver constructive feedback and strategic direction to consistently enhance the quality of output.
  • Oversee project workloads, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of assets.
  • Collaborate closely with the in-house Account Manager to accurately scope assignments and optimize the balance between internal capacity and external agency resources.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 7-10+ years in graphic/digital design or art direction, with at least 3 years leading teams.
  • Portfolio: Comprehensive work showcasing impactful graphic and digital projects (print, direct mail, web, mobile, social).
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and other relevant design tools.
  • Digital Expertise: Strong grasp of UI/UX and digital content standards and trends.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing teams and mentoring designers.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or related area.
  • Project Management: Proficiency with project management platforms.
