Job description

The Senior Data Quality Analyst supports the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of immunization information systems (IIS). This role ensures that data submitted by healthcare providers is validated, standardized, and transformed into actionable insights. A strong foundation in T-SQL is essential for managing large data sets, troubleshooting data quality issues, and developing automated validation processes.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and assess data quality across multiple systems and data sources.
  • Develop and execute data validation and cleansing routines using SQL/T-SQL and other tools.
  • Identify, document, and resolve data quality issues and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with data owners and stewards to define data quality rules and standards.
  • Create and maintain data quality dashboards and reports.
  • Support data governance efforts by contributing to metadata management and data lineage documentation.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and recommend process improvements to prevent recurring data issues.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data meets business needs.
  • Develop data quality dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to track provider compliance and system accuracy.
  • Preparing reports for leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
