The Finance and Accounting Analyst Intern will support the Finance and Accounting team with project-based work and recurring reporting. This role will assist in analyzing financial data, improving reporting processes, and supporting key accounting initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to real-time business operations and financial decision-making.


This will be a Fall 2026 internship working onsite in Addison, TX.


Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Support preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports
  • Assist with project-based work (process improvements, data cleanup, reporting enhancements)
  • Compile, review, and validate financial data for accuracy
  • Build and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards
  • Partner with accounting team members on ad hoc analysis and special projects
  • Assist with variance analysis and trend reporting
  • Document processes and help identify opportunities for efficiency
  • Assist with data gathering and preparation for finance and accounting projects


Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables; basic data analysis)
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Relevant coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Academic projects involving financial analysis, reporting, or data interpretation
  • Basic experience using Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting/filtering, pivot tables)
  • Exposure to financial statements through coursework or class assignments
  • Experience working on team projects and meeting deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize data
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Work Environment: This is largely a sedentary role; however, some work with physical computer and/or networking systems may be required to fulfill operational requirements.


• Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.


• The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of job.


• Compliance with company attendance standards.


• Prolonged periods standing up and sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


• Warehouse environment, climate control, and able to move around.


• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
