About the Job
 

The School of Music will be hiring a Wind Band Conducting Workshop Percussion Coordinator for July 2026.


The person in this position will assist with set up and tear down of percussion equipment for the Wind Band Conducting Workshop occurring from July 13, 2026 - July 17, 2026. The Wind Band Conducting Workshop will take place on site in Ted Mann Concert Hall on the University of Minnesota campus.


Duties:

  • Set up of band equipment on July 13, 2026 (3pm - 6pm)
  • Tear down of band equipment on July 17, 2026 (starting at approximately 5:15pm)
Qualifications
 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience with equipment set up and tear down for band events


Preferred Qualifications:

  • School of Music student

Pay and Benefits
 

Pay Range: $30/hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
