POSITION SUMMARY:

Focus Interpreting is looking for an experienced English to Tagalog Simultaneous Interpreter to join our team. In this role, you will provide real-time interpretation during conferences, meetings, and other events, ensuring clear communication between English and Tagalog speakers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver high-quality simultaneous interpretation services for English and Tagalog-speaking participants during various events.
  • Utilize professional interpretation equipment and techniques to facilitate effective communication.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times throughout interpretation sessions.
  • Prepare for assignments by familiarizing yourself with relevant terminology and the specific context of the event.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance interpreting skills and cultural understanding.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluency in both English and Tagalog, with exceptional oral and written communication skills in both languages.
