Production Assembler - Wire Rope
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
Overtime Opportunities: Overtime available for additional earning potential (paid at $27.00-$28.50/hr).
Job Type: Full-time, first shift
Location: Brookpark, OH
Start Date: ASAP
We are hiring dependable Production Assemblers to build wire rope assemblies in our Brookpark, Ohio facility. This is a hands-on manufacturing position for someone with mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing safe, high-quality work.
No two days are exactly alike. You will read job instructions, measure materials, operate assembly equipment, inspect finished products, and help keep production moving safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities

  • Read work orders, blueprints, and assembly instructions

  • Measure and calculate wire rope lengths accurately

  • Set up and operate assembly equipment

  • Inspect completed assemblies to verify they meet specifications

  • Count inventory and report stock levels

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Qualifications

  • No direct wire rope experience required--we provide full, paid on-the-job training!

  • Ability to lift or pull up to 50 pounds safely

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

  • Basic math skills, including measuring 

  • Basic familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Office

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays, as needed

  • Experience with rigging, lifting, wire rope, or mechanical assembly is a plus

  • Trade school, military, or related mechanical experience is a plus
