What warehouse job pays the most money?

In warehouse jobs, roles such as warehouse managers, logistics supervisors, and specialized positions like forklift operators or inventory control managers tend to have the highest salaries. These roles often require experience, certifications, and leadership skills, and they typically pay more than entry-level positions like general labor or packers.

What are typical work hours and scheduling expectations for a Per Diem Warehouse position?

Per Diem Warehouse positions usually offer flexible, as-needed shifts to accommodate fluctuating business demands, which can include evenings, weekends, or holidays. You may not have a set weekly schedule, but instead, be called to work based on volume or coverage needs, making this a great role for individuals seeking flexible or supplemental income. Team members are expected to communicate their availability clearly and may be asked to work on short notice. This flexible arrangement allows you to balance other commitments while still gaining experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Per Diem Warehouse position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Per Diem Warehouse worker, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), pallet jacks, forklifts, and barcode scanners is often required, with OSHA forklift certification a plus. Reliability, flexibility, and effective teamwork are key soft skills, especially for adapting to changing schedules and warehouse demands. These skills ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of inventory while contributing positively to the overall warehouse operation.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

Per Diem Warehouse roles typically do not pay $4,000 a week; such high earnings are uncommon without specialized skills or management positions. Jobs that can reach this level often involve high-demand fields like sales, real estate, or skilled trades, which may require experience or certifications but not necessarily a degree. High-paying warehouse jobs usually pay hourly wages that, combined with overtime, can approach higher weekly earnings, but reaching $4,000 consistently is rare without additional responsibilities or bonuses.

What is a Per Diem Warehouse job?

A Per Diem Warehouse job is a flexible, as-needed position where workers are scheduled based on demand. Employees may be responsible for tasks like receiving, organizing, and shipping inventory. These roles are ideal for individuals seeking a non-traditional work schedule. Since hours vary, it's important to check availability and requirements with the employer.

How can I make $2000 a week working from home?

A Per Diem Warehouse worker typically earns hourly wages that may not reach $2000 weekly without overtime or additional shifts. To increase earnings, workers can seek roles with higher pay rates, work extra hours, or combine multiple shifts, but working from home is uncommon for warehouse roles which usually require physical presence.

What kind of jobs get per diem?

Per diem jobs are temporary or short-term positions where employees receive daily or daily-based payments, often used in healthcare, hospitality, and some administrative roles. These jobs typically do not include full benefits and may require working irregular hours or shifts, with some positions offering per diem pay to cover travel or on-call work.

Job description

Warehouse – Material Handler

ABOUT ARMI

Since 2003, our family-owned business has specialized in process and utility piping, expanding into multiple business units over the years. We now offer nationwide services in Process & Utility Piping, Process Equipment & Installation, Thermal Fluid, and Industrial HVAC. As industry leaders, we maintain elite standards by hiring top talent. ARMI is known for work safety, meeting deadlines, quality production, and staying within budget. We believe in reinvesting in our people and supporting the local community—because we succeed together.

THE ROLE

As Material Handler, you keep material moving. You’re the supply line for a lean field team — the person who makes sure crews never wait on pipe, fittings, tools, or consumables. Receiving, staging, delivering — right material, right place, right time, every day. High ownership.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Receiving — unloading, inspecting, and verifying deliveries against POs; shortages and damage flagged before they hit a crew
  • Material traceability — heat numbers, MTRs, and material tags matched and legible
  • Staging — pipe, spools, fittings, and consumables staged by crew and work area ahead of the daily plan
  • Deliveries — material and tools moved to active work fronts all shift; loads secured and hauled DOT-compliant, trailers included
  • Inventory & organization — laydown yards, conexes, and warehouse kept clean, identified, and protected; consumables tracked and reordered before they run out
  • Equipment — forklifts, telehandlers, and pallet jacks operated safely; daily inspections and basic care
  • Safety — toolbox talks, proper rigging and lifting, PPE, and client site rules — including sanitation boundaries in operating food plants

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 1+ years of experience in warehouse, construction, or industrial material handling preferred — we will train the right person
  • Ability to accurately read packing slips, purchase orders, and material identification
  • Experience loading, securing, and hauling material to various staging areas by fork lift
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors year-round
  • Organized, dependable, and self-directed — crews count on you every hour of the day
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

WHAT ARMI OFFERS

Pay That Reflects Every Hour You Work
