DISC Surgery Center is seeking a per diem Sterile Processing Technician for our Thousand Oaks location. This position will have a varied schedule, dependent on volume. Our location is currently operating Monday - Friday.
In this position, you will:
  • Maintain instruments and equipment
  • Prepare instrumentation, equipment, and sterile supplies for scheduled surgical procedures.
  • Provide patient care to meet identified patient outcomes and achieve the center's goals as directed by the Administrator/Director of Nurses

To ensure success in this role, you should have:
  • Certification in Sterile Processing
  • 2 years professional experience in sterile processing role
  • Understanding of sterilization and high-level disinfection technologies, including industry-standardized principles and practices in sterilization and disinfection
  • Current BCLS Certification
  • The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl and lift

Pay Range: $28.00 - $35.00/hour
