Concrete Foreman (Per Diem) – Solar Project

Location: Moro, AR
Start Date: ASAP

Pay & Per Diem

  • Pay: Starting at $38/hour ( based on experience)
  • Per Diem: $150/day, 7 days per week
  • Short-term project with immediate start

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead a crew of 6 concrete finishers on a utility-scale solar construction project in Moro, Arkansas. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and experience managing concrete crews from layout through finishing while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a crew of 6 concrete finishers.
  • Direct daily activities including layout, excavation, formwork, concrete placement, and finishing.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure proper grade and elevation settings before concrete placement.
  • Conduct pre-pour inspections and oversee quality control throughout the project.
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Lead daily safety meetings ("toolbox talks").
  • Track crew time, materials, and equipment usage.
  • Coordinate material deliveries to minimize downtime.
  • Perform final inspections and ensure any concrete defects are corrected.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Concrete Foreman supervising concrete crews.
  • Experience on commercial, industrial, civil, or solar construction projects preferred.
  • OSHA 30 Certification required.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
