Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$58.00 - $89.90 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Pharmacist Retail

  • Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville

  • Per Diem: As Needed

  • Hours: Mon-Fri: 7:30am -6:30pm, Saturday 9:00am -4:00pm

  • Travel Requirement: Float, Elmhurst Outpatient Pharmacy

What you will need:

  • Education:

    • Pharm D. from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy

    • Clinical Residency or 2 years clinic pharmacy practice experience (Preferred)

  • Required License/Certification:

    • Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist License

    • Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross within six weeks of hire into position.

    • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or within 90 days of hire into position.

What you will do:

Oversees the preparation and dispensing of medication, medication order verification, and the monitoring of patient medication therapy. Acts as a resource for the provision of medication information for patients, physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals. Identifies, recommends, resolves, and prevents medication related problems through intervention with physicians. Supervises and directs pharmacy support personnel to ensure the timeliness of medication availability. Follows established policies, procedures, protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements in executing job responsibilities.
